He was born on 25 January 1966 in Skalbmierz (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship).
In 1991, he graduated from the Faculty of Sanitary and Water Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology, and in 1994, he completed studies in international trade at the Faculty Economy of Cracow University of Economics.
In 1995-2005, he ran his own advertising agency in Kielce. Between 2002 and 2005, he was a member of the Kielce City Council.
In the 6 th term Senate, he was the Deputy Chairman of the National Economy Committee.
He was a Member of the European Parliament in the 7 th term, serving as a member of the Committee on Budgets.
In 2002-2012, he was a member of the Law and Justice party, its Political Council and the Świętkorzyskie Regional Board. Member of Solidary Poland party since 2012.
