Member of the Seventh Term Senate

Born on 20th February 1970 in Warsaw.
In 1994 graduated from the Institute of Physical Culture of the Faculty of Pedagogy in the Pedagogical Academy in Częstochowa.
Between 1989 and 2005 was a professional volleyball player in AZS (Academic Sports Association) Częstochowa Club and with foreign teams: Brescia Italy, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Besiktas Istanbul and Galatasaray-Istanbul.
Between 2001 and 2007 owned a company named "Sportif Andrzej Szewiński" which sold sporting articles and equipment. In 2005–2006 was sports marketing director of the AZS Częstochowa Sports Club and then, until 2007, was chairman of the Club’s board.
Since 2009 – member of the AZS Main Board, since 2010 – member of the board of the AZS University Club at the Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.
In 2006–2007 – deputy to the Silesian Province Parliament.
In the Seventh Term Senate was member of the Emigration Affairs and Contacts with Poles Abroad Committee, European Union Affairs Committee and Science, Education and Sports Committee. Served also as the Secretary of the Senate.
Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland.
Married, has two children.
