Member of the Sixth Term Sejm.
Born on 26th July 1952 in Stargard Szczeciński.
He graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Forms of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1977.
In the years 1977 to 1985, jointly with his father and brothers, he worked in a family enterprise Wyroby Metalowe PREISSA (PREISS Artistic Metalwork). From 1985 to 1989 he was a partner in a phonographic company Boogie in Stargard, and from 1989 to 1997 – the owner of ARTPREISS advertising agency. Between 1997 and 2007 he held the post of director in the Stargard Museum. He participated in and organized numerous art exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad.
From 1990 to 1998 – member of Stargard City Council, and between 1998 and 2007 – member of Stargard District Council, where he held the function of the chairman.
He holds a chair in the Executive Council of the Polish Fine Artists Association. Member of Brama – Fine Arts Enthusiasts' Society, and the Stargard Friends Association.
In the Sixth Term Sejm he worked in the Culture and Media Committee and the National and Ethnic Minorities Committee.
He is a member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland.
Married, has one child.
