Born on 27th December 1962 in Lubań.
In 1989 graduated from the Faculty of Electronics of the Wrocław University of Technology.
Between 1990 and 2005 he ran a private business. He also worked in trading companies and in “Turów” Lignite Mine in Bogatynia. Between 2002 and 2006 was the president of Sports and Recreation Centre in Zgorzelec. Between 2008 and 2011 he held the position of the president of a sport club KKS Turów Zgorzelec.
Between 1998 and 2002 he was a member of Zgorzelec City Council. Between 2006 and 2008 – a deputy administrator of Zgorzelec District.
He is a member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland and a vice-chairman of the district council of the party.
Married, has two children.
