Deputy Marshal of the Eleventh Term Senate, elected on 13 November 2023 at the first sitting of the Senate.

Born on 24 January 1976 in Białystok.

He graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Białystok, completed Postgraduate Studies in Management of Non-Governmental Organisations at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Postgraduate Studies in Administration at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, Postgraduate Studies in “Management of educational processes in the field of revitalisation, entrepreneurship, local self-governance” at the Janusz Korczak Pedagogical University in Warsaw. From 2000 to 2012, he lectured at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Białystok, the Suwałki-Mazurian College in Suwałki and the Teacher Training College of Revalidation, Resocialisation and Physical Education in Białystok. Since 2001, he has been a member of the research and teaching staff at the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Białystok. From 1997 to 2003 he worked as the manager of the Municipal Centre for Animation of Culture, Tourism, Sport and Recreation in Wasilków. From 2003 to 2006, he was a representative of the Mayor of Białystok for cooperation with non-governmental organisations and coordinated the NGO Cooperation Centre in Białystok. From 2006 to 2007, he was the municipal secretary.

In 2007, he was appointed to the office of the Governor of Podlaskie Voivodeship, and in 2014 he was Deputy Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship.From 2018 to 2023, he held the mandate of a councillor of the Assembly (Sejmik) of the Podlaskie Voivodeship.

Since 2019, he has been President of the ACTIVUS Institute for Local Community Development. He is a member of the CAL Local Activity Support Association, the STOP Association of NGO Trainers and the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Jurowce.

He was awarded, among others, the Gold Medal of Merit for the Border Guard, the Podlasie Florian Cross and the Gold Cross for Merit in Fire Protection as well as the Gold Medal “Merit for the Fire-Fighting”.
