Henryk Siedlaczek

Member of the Eleventh Term Senate.

Member of the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Term Sejm.

Born on 30 January 1956 in Wodzisław Śląski.

He graduated in history from the Higher Pedagogical College in Opole (currently University of Opole). He completed doctoral studies at the Faculty of History and Pedagogy at the University of Opole.

He worked, among others, as a teacher at a primary school in Marklowice and a primary school in Rudy, where he also held the posts of deputy headmaster and headmaster, the Complex of Landscape Parks of the Silesian Voivodeship.

From 1998 to 2005, he was a councillor in the Racibórz County Council, and from 1999 served on its Board. From 2002 to 2005 he was the starost of Racibórz. In 2018, he was elected to the Sejmik of the Silesian Voivodeship. From 2021 to 2023, he served as Secretary of the Marklowice Municipality Office.

Member of the Polish Teachers’ Union and the Polish Hunting Association. Until 2023, he was a member of the Board of the House for Polish-German Cooperation in Gliwice.

He was awarded, among others: Silver Cross of Merit, Medal of the National Education Commission, Gold Medal “Merit for the Fire-Fighting” and Silver Badge “Merit in Fire Protection”. He was twice awarded the Kordelas of the Polish Forester.

From 16 of Januray 2024 is Member of the Civic Platform party of Poland.
