Born on 1 August 1977 in Rydułtowy.

In 2001, he graduated from the University of Silesia with a degree in political science. In 2001, he completed human resources management programme of studies at the University of Silesia, and in 2021, social welfare organisation programme at Janusz Korczak University.

From 2001 to 2005 he worked at the Radlin Municipal Office and subsequently at the Rybnik County Office. From 2002 to 2005 he was a member of the budget committee at the Rydułtowy Municipal Council.

From 2014 to 2023 he was deputy mayor of Rybnik.

He has been active in non-governmental organisations, including the Centre for the Development of Social Initiatives in Rybnik (Centrum Rozwoju Inicjatyw Społecznych w Rybniku), where he served as Managing Director from 2006 to 2014. Member of the Democratic Union of Silesian Regionalists and the “Osada Rybniki” Association.
