She was born on 17 May 1954 in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
In 1979, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze.
In the years 1980-1996, she worked as a otolaryngologist, receiving her first- and second-degree specialisation in otolaryngology. In 1999, she defended her doctoral dissertation and obtained the Doctor of Medicine title.
In the years 2001-2005, she was the CEO of the Specialist Hospital in Dąbrowa Górnicza. In the years 1994-1998, she was the Councillor of the Dąbrowa Górnicza Municipality Council.
In 2015, she was appointed the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health as the Government Plenipotentiary for the Act on Public Health.
Member of the Civic Platform party of Poland. She sits on the Silesia Regional Board and chairs the Civic Platform Group in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
