Member of the Seventh Term Senate
Born on 20th November 1943 in Lubochnia.
In 1966 graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences of the "Adam Mickiewicz" University in Poznań. In 1975 obtained the doctoral degree in physical geography (discipline: hydrology) and in 1989 obtained the degree of doctor habilitated.
From 1966 to 2007 – scientist at "Adam Mickiewicz" University in Poznań. Lectured and led seminars on hydrology, water management and environmental protection. Works as a term professor at the University. Between 1997 and 2007 – director of the 3rd Central Branch of Regional Retail Branch of PKO BP SA in Poznań.
From 1990 to 1998 – chairwoman of Poznań City Council; in subsequent terms (1999–2007) member of Poznań City Council.
Honorary chairwoman of the Poznań City Appreciation Society, member of the Poznań Society of the Friends of Learning, the Poznań Royal Castle Restoration Committee and member of Rotary Club – Poznań Starówka Chapter.
Member of the Solidarity trade union organization at "Adam Mickiewicz" University in Poznań.
In the Seventh Term Senate was member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, Environment Committee and Local Government and State Administration Committee.
Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland, member of its national board.
Married, has one child.
