Born on 19th March 1962 in Lublin.
Attended the Stanisław Konarski High School in Rzeszów. Graduated from the Medical Faculty at Wrocław Medical University in 1987. Completed the Post-Graduate Study in Healthcare Institutions Management offered by Warsaw School of Economics.
Obtained Level II specialization in internal diseases in 1992 and Level I specialization in psychiatry in 1995.
Since 1987 worked continuously at the hospital in Gryfów Śląski as, successively, intern, assistant, deputy ward director and chief physician. Served as a forensic physician and a medical court expert. 2002 – appointed medical deputy director of the Independent Public Healthcare Unit Complex in Lwówek Śląski.
1994–1998 – a member of a commune council in Gryfów Śląski and, at the same time, a deputy to the Jelenia Góra Provincial Parliament. 1998–2005 and 2010–2015 – a member of the Lwówek Śląski District Council (the chairman of the Council from 1998 to 2002).
Author of publications on social and ethical topics. Creator and founder of a secondary school competition “Polish Rights to Silesia”. Member of the Ethics Committee of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Physicians and Dentists in Wrocław.
Founded the Solidarity Trade Union at the hospital in Gryfów Śląski.
Member of the Health Committee and the National Defence Committee in the Sixth Term Senate.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Married, has four children.
