She was born on 17 March 1968 in Szczyrk.
In 1991, she graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where she obtained her Master’s degree in law. In 1993, she completed a judicial training in the Voivodeship Court in Kraków and passed her judicial examination with very good results. In the same year, she passed the attorney at law examination at the Katowice Bar Association with the grade ‘very good’, obtaining the attorney at law’s qualifications.
She also completed post-graduate Latin American Studies at the University of Warsaw (2008) and post-graduate studies in Medical Law and Bioethics at the Jagiellonian University (2017).
From 1993, she worked as an attorney at law, being an associate of a civil law partnership. From 1998 to 2007, she worked as a notary and then an advocate. From 2009 to 2018, she was a partner at a legal office in Katowice and from 2017 to 31 October 2019 she also led the Kancelaria Prawa Medycznego (medical law firm) in Katowice.
She is a member of the Congress of Women Association and its representative in Katowice. She undertakes a broad range of community and educational activities related to equality issues, rights of women, protection against discrimination.
Member of the Spring political party of Robert Biedroń. Vice-President of the party’s National Board.
