Senator of the 9 th and 10 th term Senate

She was born on 7 June 1960 in Morąg.
She graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Agricultural and Technical Academy in Olsztyn.
She is an entrepreneur, e.g. in 1992-1999, she was the president of a trading and service company and a property manager until 2005. She co-founded the Stowarzyszenie Obrony Spółdzielców (Cooperative Members Protection Association) and became its president. She organised nationwide social campaigns in Poland: ‘Cała Polska rozmawia z dziećmi’ (Entire Poland speaks with children), ‘Przestań pić, zacznij żyć’ (Quit drinking, start living), ‘Mamo, zbadaj się’ (Mum, examine yourself) and ‘Prawny GPS’ (Legal GPS – a law teaching programme for upper secondary schools). She was a member of the Council for the Victims of Crime by the Minister of Justice as well as an expert of the Team for the amendment of the Act on Court Bailiffs and Enforcement Proceedings by the Minister of Justice.
She initiated the amendments to the Act on housing co-operatives and the law on co-operatives, the Code of Civil Procedure, among others, with respect to execution and increasing the rights of victims of crime. She put forward the relevant motion and acted as the representative of Deputies before the Constitutional Tribunal on declaring some provisions of the Act on housing co-operatives and the Law on co-operatives unconstitutional.
In the 7 th term Sejm, she served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Special Committee for considering the bills on co-operative law.
She received the following distinctions: ‘BENE MERITUS 2017 HIGHLY DISTINGUISHED’ by the European Business Club Poland Association, Friend of Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn, Friend of the Hospice.
She is married and has four children.
She has no political party affiliation.
