Senator of the 9 th and 10 th term Senate

 

He was born on 13 July 1945 in Wysocko Wyżne in Ukraine.
He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the Higher School of Teacher Education (at present the Jan Kochanowski University) in Kielce in 1992.
He began his professional career in the 1960s in Gorzowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego (an industrial construction company) in Gorzów Wielkopolski where he held, among others, the position of a manager in the Export Department.
In the 1980s, he worked in the Foreign Trade Centre of ‘Budimex’ as a plenipotentiary of the building contracts ambassador in the German Democratic Republic. He is a former chairman of the Management Board in Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlano-Usługowe Interbud-West sp. z o.o. (a construction and service company) in Gorzów Wielkopolski (1990-2005); and has been the Chairman of its Supervisory Board since 2005.
He used to own the company ‘Władkom. Władysław Komarnicki’. He was also a member of the Supervisory Boards of ‘Energoinstal’ in Katowice (since 2011) and Speedway Extraleague in Bydgoszcz (since 2013).
In 1990 he co-founded the National Chamber of Construction in Warsaw and sat on its management board until 2005. In the years 2005-2011 he was a member of the Council of the Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Between 2009 and 2011 he served as the Marshal of Lubuskie Economic Council. From 2014 to 2015 he was a Deputy Chairman of the Sejmik of Lubuskie Voivodeship.

In the 9 th term Senate, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the National Economy and Innovativeness Committee. He was also the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Energy.
He is an honorary member of the Association for People with Autism and St. Camillus Hospice Association in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
He is also an Honorary President of Klub Sportowy Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski (a sports club), where in 2001-2012 he was the Deputy President and subsequently the President of the club’s management board. He sits on the Management Board of the Lubuskie Association for Energy Development in Zielona Góra.
Member of the Civic Platform party of Poland.
