Senator of the 7 th, 8 th, 9 th and 10 th term Senate

 

She was born on 20 November 1943 in Lubochnia.
She considers herself from Wielkopolska by birth, from Poznań by choice.
Since 1961 she has been cooperating with the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where she graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences in 1966. She received a PhD in 1975 and in 1989 – a post-doctoral degree in physical geography (majoring in hydrology) at the Jagiellonian University.
From 1966 to 2014, she was an academic researcher of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She ran lectures and seminars on hydrology, water management and environmental protection. In the years 1997-2007, she worked in a PKO BP bank branch in Poznań (as a branch director, among others).
Between 1990 and 2007, she was a Councillor of the Poznań City Council, which she chaired in the years 1991-1998.
In the 8 th term Senate, she served as the Chairperson, and in the 9 th term Senate, she was the Deputy Chairperson of the Environment Committee. She is an Honorary President of Towarzystwo Miłośników Miasta Poznania (Poznań City Supporters Association), member of the Rotary Club Poznań Starówka and Poznań Society for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences.
Member of the Civic Platform party of Poland.
