Senator of the 10 th term Senate

 

He was born on 6 November 1954 in Wieluń.
He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lodz University of Technology. In 1984, he obtained a PhD in Chemical Sciences.
He worked at the Centre for Molecular and Macromolecular Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He was a professor at the State University of Applied Sciences in Kalisz. From 2000 to 2002, he was the Prorector of this university.
In 2002, he became the President of Kalisz. In 2006, he was re-elected for this office. In 2010, he was elected for the third time. In 2018, he won a mandate of the Councillor of the Kalisz City Council, and then became the Chairman of the City Council.
He served as the Deputy Chairman of ‘Samorządny Kalisz’ Association and the Chairman of the Management Board of Communal Utilities Association ‘Czyste Miasto, Czysta Gmina’ (‘Clean City, Clean Municipality’).
He has no political party affiliation.
