Senator of the 10 th term Senate

 

He was born on 2 November 1959 in Radom.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw, Branch in Białystok. Then he completed his legal training to become a prosecutor and an attorney at law, and passed the relevant exams.
He worked for the Polish State Railways and the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zambrów. In the years 1990-1998, he was the Head of the Civic Affairs Department of the Office of the Voivode in Łomża, and then, from 1998 to 2002, the Staroste of the Zambrów Poviat. In the years 2002-2006, he worked in the Office of the Voivode of Podlaskie Voivodeship in Białystok. Since 2006 he has been working as an attorney at law, providing services to local governments.
Since 1990 he continually held the position of a Councillor during all terms and on all levels: starting with City Councillor, then Poviat Councillor, and since 2006, Councillor of Podlaskie Voivodeship. On 11 December 2018 he was appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Sejmik of Podlaskie Voivodeship.
He is the Vice-President of the Association of Catholic Families of the Łomża Diocese, as well as the President of the Board of the Poviat Branch of the Association of the Polish Association of Volunteer Fire Brigades in Zambrów, and the President of the General Honorary Court of the Polish Association of Volunteer Fire Brigades. He is a member of the Museum Council of the Rev. Krzysztof Kluk Museum of Agricultural in Ciechanowiec.
He was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit for his social and local government activities, and, among other distinctions, the Gold Decoration for ‘Merit in Fire Protection’, the Bolesław Chomicz Medal of Honour, the Gold Medal ‘For Merit in Firefighting’, the ‘Podlaskie Florian Cross’ Golden Decoration of Honour for firefighting activities, as well as a silver medal ‘For long service’ and a silver medal ‘For Merit for National Defense’.

He is the co-author of the book entitled ‘Strażacy Powiatu Zambrowskiego’ (Firefighters of the Zambrów Poviat). Member of the Law and Justice party and its poviat representative.
