Born on 4th August 1971 in Częstochowa.
Graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the Higher Teacher Education School in Częstochowa (major: history) in 1995; completed a post-graduate course in the management and organisation of social support at the University of Łódź in  2001. Received a PhD in political sciences from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw in 2014.
1993−1997 – worked as a journalist and an employee at the State Sanitary Inspection.
Appointed as a deputy director of the Regional and Foreign Cooperation Department of the Provincial Office in Częstochowa in 1998. 1999–2004 – the head of the Branch of the Social Policy Department of the Silesian Provincial Office in Częstochowa.
2004−2006 – the head of the Education Centre for Civil Servants and Social Workers in Częstochowa. 2006−2009 – the head of the Silesian Centre for Public Health in Katowice; 2009 – a deputy inspector of the Provincial Trade Inspection in Katowice.
Has worked at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa (since 2009), recently as a lecturer. 2010−2015 – a head programme specialist at the Municipal Social Care Centre in Częstochowa.
2006−2009 and 2014−2015 – a deputy to Silesian Provincial Parliament;
2006−2009 – a deputy chairman of the Parliament. 2010−2014 – a member of Częstochowa City Council. 2009−2010 – the first deputy President of Częstochowa.
2006−2009 – a deputy chairman of the Social Welfare Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy; 2009–2013 − the chairman of the District Employment Council in Częstochowa.
President of the Association of Social Work Auxílio Venire in Częstochowa, vice chairman of the Polish Association of Social Workers, spokesman for the rights of the elderly. His publication record includes numerous scientific publications and  articles as well as the monograph “Starość w podczęstochowskiej wsi” (“The old age in a village nearby Częstochowa”).
Member of the Solidarity Trade Union.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Married, has two children.
