Born on 3rd November 1967 in Rydułtowy.
Graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, MSc in mining and geology.
1994–2007 − occupied the following managerial posts in the mining industry: Strategy Office and Production Resources Management Team coordinator at Centrum Wydobywcze “Południe” (a mining centre), representative of the Quality  Management Systems Director, investment and environment protection chief, blasting operations and mining work deputy manager, chief foreman. Expert in resource and energy  policy. Participated in drawing up plans and strategies for the mining sector. Was responsible for monitoring the mining sector’s macroeconomic environment, drew up a report on macroeconomic conditions along with a draft recovery plan. Participated in the works of the steering team in charge of drafting  he following reports: “Potential of greenhouse gas emission reduction in Poland by 2050” and “Projected demand of Polish economy for hard coal and lignite as resources for the energy sector until 2050”.
1998–2007 – a member of Wodzisław District Council; 2002−2007 – a deputy chairman of the district. Initiated and participated in drawing up the Wodzisław District Development Strategy. 2014−2015 – a deputy to Silesian Provincial Parliament.
Member of the Polish Member Committee of the World Energy Council. Organiser of conferences and debates; author of scientific publications related to mining and resource / energy issues.
Member of the Economy Committee, the Physical Education, Sport and Tourism Committee, the Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry Committee, the Innovation and New Technologies Committee and the European Union  Affairs Committee in the Sixth Term Sejm.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Married, has one daughter.
