Born on 21st November 1948 in Oława.
In 1972 graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Agriculture in Cracow.
He is a journalist. From 1972 to 1973 worked in the Polish National Radio branch in Łódź, and from 1973 to 1979 – in the editorial commentary section of Polish National TV in Warsaw. Between 1979 and 1982 he remained in emigration in Sweden. Between 1982 and 1994 he worked for Polish Broadcasting Station of Radio Free Europe in Munich and then in Poland. Since 1995 he has been running a business – a jeweler workshop and shop in Praszka. Since 2003 he has been publishing a local weekly “Kulisy Powiatu Kluczbork – Olesno”.
He is a member of Local Newspapers Association.
He is a member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland, the vice-chairman of the regional council and the chairman of the district council of the party.
Married, has one child.
