Deputy Marshal of the Seventh Term Senate

Born on 17th December 1954 in Czaplinek.
In 2000 graduated in administration at the Baltic Higher School of the Humanities in Koszalin.
Began work in 1974. Between 1991 and 1992 worked at the Provincial Administration Office in Koszalin as immigration officer in the Citizenship Affairs Department.
Between 1990 and 1994 was member of Białogard City Council, later (2002–2006) – of Białogard District Council. 1998–2002 and 2006–2007 was deputy to Zachodniopomorskie Provincial Parliament. In 1998 was governor of Koszalińskie Province.
Activist of the Solidarity Trade Union since establishment of the union, worked also for the underground Solidarity at the Central Pomerania region; as a result, several times arrested and sentenced. Till 1998 – chairwoman of the Koszalin regional board of the Solidarity Trade Union in Koszalin. Co-organizer of the Solidarity Civic Committee.
In the Seventh Term Senate was member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, Environment Committee, Legislation Committee and Rules, Ethics and Senatorial Affairs Committee. Served also as the Secretary of the Senate.
Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland; member of its national council and chairwoman of its Białogard district board.
