Born on 26th September 1955 in Zawoja.
1981 – graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy of AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.
1982–1983 – worked as a process engineer in Compact Car Factory in Bielsko-Biała.
Between 1984 and 1990 was a teacher at a Mechanical School Complex in Sucha Beskidzka.
Between 1990 and 1998 he was a member of Zawoja Commune Council, simultaneously serving as the commune governor. From 1998 to 2011 – a member of the Sucha Beskidzka District Council, and between 1999 and 2011 – the administrator of Sucha Beskidzka district.
Member of the Family, Senior and Social Policy Committee and the Local Government and State Administration Committee in the Eighth Term Senate.
Member of the Law and Justice political party.
Married, has eight children.
