Member of the Sixth Term Senate
Born on 1st June 1961 in Myszków.
From 1980 to 1985 he was a student in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology. He continued his studies in the years 1985–1990 in Padeborn University and RWTH (Rheinisch–Westfälische Technische Hochschule) in Aachen.
From 1990 to 1995 he worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Dusseldorf and Zurich. Between 1995 and 2003 as the President of the Management Board, he created the “Plus” retail chain from the scratch on the territory of Poland. Since 2003 he has been the President of “Teng” – a commercial real estate company. He is also an entrepreneur, managing his family farm in Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska.
He is a social activist and supporter of local culture, caring about historical monuments. He saved and reconstructed the royal castle in Bobolice. He is a founder and the chairman of Fundacja Królewskie Zamki Jurajskie (Royal Castles of Jura Foundation).
In the Sixth Term Senate he worked in the National Economy Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee.
He is a member of the Civic Platform.
Married with five children.
