Member of the Fifth and Seventh Term Senate
Born on 5th March 1956 in Chmielnik.
In 1983 graduated from a higher general-education secondary school in Rzeszów.
Operates a fruit farm.
Between 1990 and 2004 – Chmielnik Commune governor; 2006–2007 – deputy speaker of Podkarpackie Provincial Parliament.
In 2005–2006 was adviser to the agriculture minister on rural social issues; in 2006–2007 – adviser to the prime minister.
Activist of Catholic Action in Przemyśl and Rzeszów Archdiocese. Member of “Dolina Strugu” Regional Agricultural Industry Society in Błażowa. Chairman of the “Abstinent Poland” Association and member of the “Abstinent Commune” Addiction Prevention Society in Chmielnik.
Member of the Solidarity Trade Union.
In the Fifth Term Senate was member of the Emigration Affairs and Poles Abroad Committee and the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee. In the Seventh Term Senate was deputy chairman of the Family and Social Policy Committee and member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee.
Member of the Solidarity Poland Party, board member.
Married, has four children.
