Secretary of the Senate

Born on 18th August 1956 in Wojcieszów Górny.
In 1981 she graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Catholic University of Lublin. In 1985 completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Social Rehabilitation and Prevention at the University of Warsaw, and in 2000 – postgraduate studies in management at the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Poznan School of Banking. She is an alumnus of Polish American School of Business Administration of Portland State University (1994).
From 1983 to 1984 she worked as a court-appointed family guardian at the District Court in Lubin, and between 1984 and 1990 she held the position of a provincial probation officer at the Provincial Court in Legnica. From 1990 to 1998 she worked at the Social Welfare Centre in Lubin, also as its director. In 1998 she was State Plenipotentiary for the universal health insurance’ representative in Zielona Góra. Participated in the creation of Lubuskie Province Health Care Fund in Zielona Góra, and held the position of its director in 1999. Between 1999 and 2005 she worked at the Lubuskie Province Office in Gorzów Wielkopolski on different positions, including general director. From 2005 to 2007 was the director of the Lubuskie Province branch of the National Health Fund (NFZ).
In 1990–1994 she was a member and deputy chairman of Lubin City Council and in 1998–1999 – a councillor of the Lubin District. Between 2007 to 2011 she held the position of the governor of Lubuskie Province.
Member of the Civic Platform Party of Poland and of the national and provincial council of this party. She is also the deputy chairwoman of the party’s board in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Married, has two children.
